What did you say ?

Christianity is called The Great Confession. But most Christians who are defeated because they believe and confess the wrong things. The have spoken the words of the enemy. And those words hold them in bondage. Proverbs 6:2 says, "Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the word of thy mouth. Charles Capps said: "Faith filled words will put you over, Fear filled words will defeat you, Word are the most powerful thing in the universe.   We need to act like our Heavenly Father. Ephesians 5:1 in the amplified bible says "Therefore be imitators of God (copy him and follow his examples), as well-beloved children (imitate their father)." Jesus is our example. Nobody showed a better way of acting like the father than Jesus. Jesus even went as far as to tell Phillip in John 14:9-10 Amp "Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know me yet, Phillip? Anyone who has seen me has seen the father. How can you say then, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that i am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? What I telling You I do not say on My own authority and of my own accord; but the Father who lives continually in me does the ([a]His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power)." Jesus walk in faith and Jesus spoke in faith, speaking like God spoke in Genesis 1:3, "And God said , Let there be light; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good." Jesus spoke like this in Matthew 17:20, "And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed  , ye shall say unto this mountain,Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall be removed; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Jesus spoke to demons. He spoke to the fig tree. He spoke to the wind and the sea and they all were obedient to what he said. He operated in the God kind of faith. God is a faith. God released his faith in words. Jesus was acting like his father and getting the same results as the father. We are to speak the word of God to get God results. This is not about name it and claim it, or blab it and grab it. NO, this is saying what the Word says about the situation. Most people have used the words of their mouth to hold them in bondage. But when we speak the word of God, the heart will produce liberty it will produce the health and healing the Word said it would.  Train yourself to speak Gods Word. If you wanted to be a doctor or lawyer you couldn't just start operating like one. You must get the proper training. When you study the life of Jesus you will see that defeated the enemy because he trained himself. Here are a few way that he did that:1) He spent much time in prayer. But he never prayed the problem, he prayed the answer, what God said is the answer. 2) He spoke accurately, never with crooked speech. His conversation always consisted of what God said. 3) He always spoke the end results, not the problem. Never did he confess the present circumstances. He spoke the desired results. He used the written Word to defeat Satan in Matthew 4:1-11, Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2.And when he ha d fasted for forty days and forty night, he was afterward an hungered. 3) And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but very word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5.Then the devil taken him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6) And saith unto him , if thou be the son of God, cast thyself down: For it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up less at any time thou dash thy foot against the stone. 7) Jesus said unto him, It is written: Thou shalt not tempted the Lord thy God. 8) Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9) And saith unto him, All these thing will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10) Then then Jesus said unto him, Get thee hence Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11) Then the devil leaveth him, and ,behold, angels came and ministered unto him.      The Word of God conceived in the heart, formed by the tongue and spoken out of the mouth is creative power.       Read, Meditate and pray this weeks scripture: Proverbs 4:20-22, Psalm 91:10-11, 1Cornthians 12:27, 2 Corinthians 2:14, Mark 11:23-24, Psalm 119:89 and Revelation 12:11      God Loves You and so do I.

I've Got The Power

I think we all remember the C & C Music Factory song from the early 90's.  You heard it on your car stereo, saw the video on tv and even saw it on commercials.  When you heard Martha Wash belt out those lyrics, "I got the power," you really felt like you had the power.  But unlike the song that eventually faded away, we do have a power that lasts forever.  And it's available for us.  That's the power of prayer.  James 5:16 (Amp) "Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false step, your offenses, your sins) and pray (also) for one another, that you may be healed and restored (to a spiritual tone of mind and heart) the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in it's working).
Let's take a look at this power:
You've got the power.
The earnest heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man.  A righteous man, means a man that is in right standing with God.  A righteous man can pray without hindrances.  His prayers will be hertfelt prayers that flow out his heart continuously to God.
He's got the power for you.

God makes tremendous power available.
When we pray, the power supply that comes from God, dwells in us.  Making tremendous power available to do the extraordinary works of God.  Such as healing the sick, breaking curses and bondages.  Jude 1:20 "But you beloved, build yourselves up (founded) on your most holy faith (make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher) praying in the Holy Spirit."  Praying with this power places you far above your problem and allows you to see your problem the way God sees them, defeated.  Pray, equipping yourself to keep the enemy away from you.
We've got the power.
Prayer is "dynamic" in it's working.
Looking back at James 5:16, the Amplified Bible put this prase in parenthesis.  Like an add-on to the meaning.  The word dynamic means, force producing motion.  The root word in dynamic is dyna, which, in Greek, means power.  Dyna is also the root word for dynamite.  Which means power to blow up, shatter or destroy.  Praise God now we have the power to destroy, shatter and blow up the plans of the devil.  You don't have to live with the enemy defeating you.  Blow him up!
You are righteous when you pray.  You have such tremendous power available for you that it's dynamic (dynamite) in it's working.

Man, I'm Thirsty!

We can all relate to being thirsty.  Weather your mouth is dry and you need some water, or you're outside on a hot summers day and you could really go for a tall glass of lemonade, or you just finished working out and you need your favorite energy drink.  We all can relate to being thirsty.  But there is a thirst that can't be quenched by water or any other liquid beverage.  Thats our thirst for God.  "As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God.  When can I go and stand before him?" (Psalm 42:1-2 LT)  David wanted to know where God was so he could stand in His presence and quench his thirst.  Jesus provided confirmation in Matthew 5:6 (KJV) "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."  Notice he did not say, might be, could be or a strong possibly, be filled.  No,
he said SHALL be filled.  One translation says completely satisfied!  Weather we drink out of the bottle or out of the tap, regular water can never satisfy your thirst for Him.  "Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw."  John 4:13-15(KJV)  Look at that, Jesus said that he will give us a well, an endless supply of water on the inside of us that will spring up to everlasting life.  So how do we satisfy the thirst in our spirits to have more of God?  How do we thirst for Heaven and not the world?  How do we thirst for the everlasting and not the temporal?  Well I believe
the answer is, We Seek!  John 7:37-38 "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."  This scripture has 3 keys for never thirsting again.
The first key:  If any man thirst, let him come unto me.  Come and make Jesus your Savior and Lord of your life.
The second key:  Drink...drink what?  Drink the Word of God.  Drink in what God said about Jesus.  Drink in what God said about you and your life in Him.
The third key:  Believe, believe what the Word says about Jesus.  "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me." John 14:6 & 9
These 3 keys will allow us to have an endless supply of living water that we never thirst again.  Jump in, the water is fine!

" May I See Some I.D. Please"!

How many times have we heard that in life?  Weather you're going to the store to buy some smokes or maybe you're going to the bars and got asked for you I.D.  The worst is when you get pulled over by the police and they ask for you I.D. and proof of insurance.  We carry identification with us everywhere we go.  But Jesus said there is an identification we have with us always, that we can never use enough, our identification "In Him."  Acts 17:28 "For in him we live and move and have our being.’[a] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring."  Isn't God wonderful, that in his son Jesus, we have our identification in Him, as his offspring, to live and move and have our being.  This begins when you make Jesus the Lord and Savior of you life.  Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
The first step of being in Him is confessing Jesus as you Lord.  Being a born again child of God is the key that opens the door to all of Gods provisions and promises for us in Him.  Now that we are in Him, He is Lord over our lives and we are under his Lordship.  Which means He now leads us and guides us in all truth.  He protects us and takes care of us as we operate in Him.  Jesus said I am the good shepherd (John 10:14).  We have been identified to do good.  Ephesians 2:10 (Amp) says, "For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]."  Our God is so good that he planned out a path for us.  To live good and to do good in Him.  You may have been in prison or abused as a child.  Maybe you walked out on your family or were addicted to drugs which took you to a dark place in your life.  Every time you tried to do the right thing a mistake happened or times got hard and you thought there was no way out.  So you return to what you know or what you can identify with.  This only happened when we try to do the right things with the wrong ability, ours!  But the good news is that in Him you are a new creation.  2 Corinthians 5:17 "In Him you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you."
It all ends and begins with your I.D. in Him.  For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.  For all things live through Him and all things center on and tend to consummate and to end in Him.  To Him be glory forever!  Amen!  So be it, Romans 11:36 (Amp).  Your I.D. in Him not only tells you who you are, and others who you are, but it lets the devil know who you are.  Acts 19:13-16, "Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded."  This man, Sceva, tried to cast out the devil based on someone else's relationship with Jesus.  He had no relationship with Jesus, and since he had no relationship with Him, He had no I.D. in Him.  Since he had no I.D. in Him, the devil beat the crap out of him to the point that he was naked and wounded.
Your idenification is in Him (Jesus).  Start defeating the devil at every turn by saying what God says about you.  That now you show your I.D. in Him.
If the devil tells you, you won't win..your I.D. says in Romans 8:33, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."
If the devil tells you, you can't do this...your I.D. says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
If the devil tells you, you'll never be more than strung out, a crack head or a drunk..you tell him your I.D. says in 1 John 4:4 says, "..greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world."
Now you have your I.D. that will set you free.  Because whom the Son sets free is free indeed!

All means All

King David said in Psalms 23:1 (NLT) "The Lord is my shephard I have all that I need."
David had a revelation on how good God is.  How he went from being a shephard boy to becoming a king, all the battles he won and all the things he overcame, was because of his trust in all.  He relied on all and believed in all God had told him.  David never pursued the resources, he pursued the source.  We need to take his same approach to have the spirit of all working for us.  First thing we must do is make our relationship with God our number one priority, and not the fleshly things we need.  Matthew 6:33 (Amp) "But seek (aim at and strive after) first of ALL His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right) and ALL these things taken together will be given you beside."
Look at that, God said aim at and strive after, first of all His kingdom, His way of doing and being right.  Not your way, not the praise God one day and get high the next.  Or seek His face one day, but look for his hand the next.  God only knows how to go one way..all and all.  And Jesus went about ALL Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and healing ALL manner of sickness, ALL manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23 KJV).
When the evening came, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils an he cast out the spirit with His Word, and healed ALL that were sick.
When He preached the Word He healed ALL that were sick.  When you preach the Word, God heals ALL that are sick.
Gods desire is to bless you with ALL that you need.
2 Corinthians 9:8 (Amp) says, "And God is able to make ALL grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under ALL circumstances and whatever the need be self sufficient (possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.)
Wow!  God has given me ALL THE GRACE...ALL THE BLESSING...ALL THE ABUNDANCE to meet my needs and others.
If that doesn't cover your all, then these will:
I can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens me  Phil 4:13
And my God shall supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus  Phil 4:19
If thou canst believe, ALL things are possible to him that believe  Mark 9:23
So let Christ be the ALL,in ALL in your life.
Remember He's ALL that you need!

God's Strike Force

HEAVENS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
Angels
Bombs, guns, tanks..these are weapons that we are familiar with.  We see news reports of military using these weapons to invade countries.  Terrorists use these weapons to intimidate or cause people to fear destruction or death.  But the good news for us is that God has a more powerful weapon at his disposal than the world has ever seen.  I call them God's Strike Force but you know them as angels.
Hebrews 1:14 in the Amplified version said, "Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?"  These heavenly hosts are here to serve us as we move forward in God's plan for our lives.
Angels can save you from sudden death. "For He will give His angels charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. 12They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone." (Psalms 91:11-12).
I remember a young man told me, while he was trying to get free of his addiction, he had prayed that day, for God to take away his crack addiction.  Later on that night he was craving a hit of crack so bad that he just got in his car, around midnight, and took off to the crack dealers house.  While driving he was cut off by a lady driver and it caused him to get stuck at a light.  While he was at the light, several under cover cops passed by him, heading in the same direction.  He pulled up to his dealers block just in time to see the house being raided.  This became a wake up call to him, that an angel, sent by God, saved him from not only going to jail that night, but that he needed to get some help.
Angels are assigned to you, waiting for you to release them on your behalf.  When you pray, they are released!
They Minister to us
They Deliver us from danger
They Protect us
They Bless us
What more can we ask for.
Put your angels to work today.
God loves you and so do I!

The God That Can Change Your Name

Genesis 17:1-8
When God changes your name He changes who you are.  He changed Abram (high, exalted father) to Abraham (father of a multitude).  Abram became Abraham because of Gods covenant that was made between Him and Abram.  This same covenant belongs to you.  Which means we are no longer subject to the labels that people put on us (alcoholic, pot head, crack head, meth addict, dope fein, etc.)  God through Jesus Christ has made us new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified) Therefore if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether) the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away.  Behold the fresh and new has come!  The "you" who you used to be is gone so don't rehearse it.

Note:  What you do is not who you are.  But what you practice (rehearse) is what you become.
Genesis 32:24-28
Jacob became tired of being known as a schemer, trickster, swindler, to the point that he wrestled with an angel until God blessed him by changing his name to Israel (contender with God).

What has God called you?  God has called you:

The BELOVED     Romans 1:7
The HEALED    Isaiah 53:5
The ONE THAT PROSPERS     3 John 2
The RIGHTEOUS   1 Peter 3:18
A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD   1 Peter 2:9
The REDEEMED (you were bought with a price)   1 Corinthians 7:23

Read, meditate and pray on what God says about you today.
